Expériences liées à Sphère : I have been working in humanitarian emergencies for five years (Angola and Northern Uganda) with GOAL and Jesuit refugee Service. During this period I came to appreciate the impact of Sphere Project on trying to to improve the quality and accountablity humanitarian operations-and to this effect I tried to apply the Sphere Standards and the Code of conduct. However ,in some cases , I failed to achieve the set standards due to lack of appropriate knowledge on how to apply the standards and also the context. I have generated a special interest in Sphere Project and the whole debate on accountablity intiatives in the humanitarian sector. At the moment , I am studying a MSc in Humanitarian Programme Management where I am going to conduct a research project in Sphere Minimum Standards in Northern Uganda.
