is an independent consultant on humanitarian issues, specialised in training and development of training tools. French national, married with two children, he is able to work in French and English. He has a Ph.D in Law and is a former legal officer with the IFRC, dealing with legal advice to operations, questions related to statutory meetings and international humanitarian law. In 1989 he founded the Jean-Pictet IHL competition and is its annual organiser. He participated in a Training of Trainers (ToT) in Geneva in April 2001; in the past years, he facilitated or co-facilitated Sphere sessions, workshops and Training of Trainers in Cameroun, Chad, France, India, Kenya, Rwanda, Pakistan and Switzerland, for Care, IFRC, IRC, Oxfam, Save the Children, Sphere, Sphere India.
