The Sphere Training of Trainers 18 was held at “SPA Renacer”, in Colonia Tovar, Venezuela from the 9th to the 17th of June 2008. A total of 22 participants (out of a total of 24 selected) attended from 10 countries. The facilitation team was led by Ana Urgoiti, Independent Humanitarian Consultant, and was composed by Darío Alvarez, International Federation of Red Cross - PADRU, and Martín Villarroel, from Save the Children Alliance in South America. The course was hosted by the Venezuelan Red Cross and the Italian Red Cross. The logistics and administration support was provided by Marco La Pietra, head of the Italian Red Cross Delegation.

Report of the first World Vision Sphere ToT (internal course) hosted by its East Africa Regional Office in Nyeri, Kenya, 9 to 16 August 2004. Sphere India, a national coalition of humanitarian agencies in India, conducted the first Sphere Training of Trainers in India (in Bangalore) from 16 to 23 May 2004.  The training team consisted of Juan Saenz (independent) as the lead facilitator, co-facilitated by Christophe Lanord (independent), CK Pathak (independent) and Suneet Anand (IFRC, India). PV Krishnan, Sphere India Coordinator was the course administrator.

The Sphere Training of Trainer event was hosted by the American Red Cross from May 27th to the June 2nd 2007. The training was a residential event held at the at the Central Karon Beach Resort in Phuket, Thailand.

The training team was Emma Jowett, an independent consultant, who acted as lead trainer. The two co-trainers were Kari Egge, Regional Health Advisor for the American Red Cross and Suneet Anand, Director for Disaster Management and Disaster Preparedness for the Indian Red Cross.

La 17ème formation de formateurs du Projet Sphère s’est tenue au Grand Hôtel de Niamey au Niger du 27 février au 6 mars 2008. Elle y a été accueillie par le bureau de World Vision Niger. 
L’équipe de formateurs était composée de Sylvie Robert, consultante indépendante, Rory Downham, directeur de la formation à l’Institut Bioforce Développement, et Sansan Dimanche, coordinateur des activités de santé et de nutrition à World Vision Niger.
