A five-day Sphere Training of Trainers (ToT) organised by the ECB II Consortium in Horn of Africa will take place from July 6-10, 2009 at the Panafric Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya from 8am-5pm and 8am to 1 pm on the fifth day.

The ToT targets representatives from agencies who have undergone basic training on the Sphere standards. The people who will undergo the TOT will be expected to train a group as part of the training and will also be expected to conduct trainings over the next 12 months in their respective agencies. In addition, the trained persons will form a core team of the Quality and Accountability that will work in partnership to promote accountability in emergencies in the region. This training will be held simultaneously with the “Good Enough Guide” ToT.

The cost of the training for the 5 day workshop is US$ 420. This cost includes the Sphere trainers guide, a poster, conference package, the Sphere handbook, printed course materials, lunch, tea/ coffee, water. All participants are responsible for their accommodation and transport costs.

Please note that another ToT on the Good Enough Guide will be held simultaneously with the Sphere ToT.
