Questions about Sphere Training

Follow up Sphere training - 2006/04/30 10:34 I have been facilitator in for sphere training and sphere audit in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe. It is essential to agree abouth follow up strategies. on personal level who will be responsible. when will agreed tasks be followed up and how will it be done.

In Southern Africa region we ss trainers and facilitators we must put specieal attention to follow up startegies and local coordination with Governments, INGOs and local NGOs.

Re:Follow up Sphere training - 2006/05/01 14:24 I was pleased to read the point about follow-up strategies. I am a freelance trainer & have done a few Sphere trainings in Zimbabwe for different organisations (including participants from UN, NGOs, & governmen) & am often left with a fear that there is little follow up & action following the training. it is interesting to hear that you too (Jan) have done training in Zimbabwe - there is clearly a need to have more coordination on training & follow-up. Maybe the idea of Sphere focal points may help with this? Anyone any other ideas, experiences?
