Responding to the requests of colleagues in the frontline for a handier format of Sphere Project handbook, Masyarakat Penanggulangan Bencana Indonesia (MPBI) is pleased to publish the pocket size Sphere booklet in English and Bahasa.

It goes with strong caution that the booklet is only a "foyer" that leads readers to the fuller discourse, description and guidance on humanitarian principles, quality and accountability in the actual Sphere Handbook. In hope that the booklet would travel far and wide to help improve the work of disaster management communities.
