1. Staff changes

After five years (to the day!), Nan Buzard, the project manager is leaving the Sphere project to seek new challenges. Her last day is October 31. The new project manager, Alison Joyner, will begin her post in early October, allowing for a three-week overlap. Alison has spent nine years working for SCF, Oxfam and UNICEF in Sudan, Tibet and Sierra Leone. The talented remaining Sphere team members - Veronica Foubert and Elly Proudlock - will support Alison.
