  • Sphere ToT report Philippines April 2014

    This document is the report of the Sphere Training of Trainers course organised in Philippines, in Antipolo City by RedR Australia.

    The Sphere Training of Trainers (TOT) continued in the period of April 2014, making this the second TOT to be facilitated by RedR Australia in the Philippines, following from training round in February 2013. The training implementation took place in the week of 7 -11 April 2014, at the first Pacific Leadership Hotel training venue located in Antipolo City, Manila. The course was coordinated by Mev Bardiqi, Senior Humanitarian Trainer and Sphere focal point, and co-assisted by RedR Australia Associate Trainers (AT) Regan Potangaroa and Tim Hayden.

    The emphasis of this Sphere TOT, was on responsibility, accountability and some of the key problems associated in disaster, and Sphere response to those problems. In this TOT, participants were provided with ample opportunity to gain and practice technical training skills.

  • Sphere Emergency training toolkit

    This Emergency training toolkit (v1) seeks to support training workshops carried out during an emergency response. It includes a number of resources designed by Sphere trainers to quickly bring aid workers and local officials up to speed on Sphere principles and standards. Materials are available in English, French and Spanish.
