A person with technical training and field experience is required to run the health module, and an experienced nutritionist is required to run the nutrition module. They have been designed to be delivered by non-training specialists. Ideally, the Sphere Project Secretariat recommends that a team of three people deliver the entire course – a trainer, a doctor and an experienced nutritionist. Some preparation is required, as the materials are quite technical and sophisticated. To quickly understand the materials, the “trainers guide” should be read in conjunction with the “session plans”. Each session plan consists of two files: 1 – Microsoft powerpoint with visual images for the course ; and 2 – Microsoft word file presentation notes, exercises and answer guides Other standard preparations are fully outlined in the Sphere Project Learning Guide.
